Being stuck at red going insane. Waiting, hoping, praying that it will change. One of my favorite quotes “There are seasons that ask questions and seasons that answer”. That’s what a red light is to me. It’s a place where you are forced to stop and reflect, to observe and contemplate, to endure and tolerate. For the red lights in life make you recalibrate.
Being forced to slow down even stop. When your instinct is to attack what’s in front of you go at it with everything until the unexpected happens and you slide to a stop. Being forced to slow down even stop can be torturous. Being forced to sit with yourself in silence and quite waiting for the path to clear, the snow to melt. Forced to get back in touch with you, not tied up in material success, being the best dressed or having an image to protect, but rather sit in the gift of presence.
The times in life that you feel stuck at red often times if you look will lay out the path ahead.
Then when it’s time and you’ve been tested by the divine. You’ll put the car in drive and you’ll know what’s behind your why.
